Privacy Policy

Local-First Architecture

WPLink is a desktop application that runs entirely on your local machine. All data processing, including content crawling, embedding generation, and semantic analysis, happens locally. We do not operate any cloud servers that process or store your data.

Credential Security

Your WordPress credentials and API keys are stored securely in your operating system's native keychain (macOS Keychain or Windows Credential Manager). We never have access to these credentials, and they never leave your device.

No Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your WordPress content, internal links, or site data. The VelesDB vector store containing your content embeddings exists only on your local disk and is never synced to any external service.

No Analytics or Tracking

The WPLink desktop application does not include any analytics, telemetry, or tracking code. We do not monitor your usage patterns or collect any behavioral data.

Third-Party AI Providers

When you choose to use AI providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini, your content is sent directly to those services using your own API keys. We recommend reviewing each provider's privacy policy. For maximum privacy, you can use Ollama for 100% offline AI processing.
